[Scene: bedroom]
Grandson: Grandpa, grandpa, wait. Wait, what did Fezzik mean "He's dead"? I mean, he didn't mean dead. Westley's only faking, right?
Grandfather: You want me to read this or not?
Grandson: Who gets Humperdinck?
Grandfather: I don't understand.
Grandson: Who kills Prince Humperdinck? At the end. Somebody's got to do it. Is it Inigo, who?
Grandfather: Nobody. Nobody kills him. He lives.
Grandson: You mean he wins? Jesus, Grandpa, what did you read me this thing for?
Grandfather:You know, you've been very sick and you're taking this story very seriously. I think we better stop now.

A glimmer of light over the horizon special sign of hope and light! Love the wide strokes of the cloud formations, Is that text in the sea? Deep, silent and calm!

Carol! Thank you...those cloud formations made me swoon! And yes, text in the sea. There is another painting underneath, and I was really pleased with how it added to the depth of this one.

Jen, I especially like the depth and complexity of the sky, and the bright patch of turquoise on the water. That turquoise acts as a placeholder for the juxtaposition of surface and below-the-surface.

thanks, Dotty! Seeing the below-the surface was key in this one, and how do you make THAT happen? Layers and layers of thin colors. That bright patch of turquoise made me smile!

Here's the blue wild, where
tiny dreamers ride beasts, speak
 birdsong, hold the moon.
