I have always been dazzled by transformation.
Whether it was rearranging the living room furniture as a kid (which my mother, for some reason, never minded), painting a wall, cutting off (or growing out) my hair, even simply pulling weeds to make a patch of the garden look better - something about transformation makes my eyes light up. I understand Marie Kondo's desire to tidy. Except I see it as magic. Perhaps it is the hope that accompanies visible change. If I can change this small thing, maybe I can also influence that big thing to be different. And by different, I mean better. Safer. Happier. Rut-less.
And, well, if you want to go all out, you can always change your name. :)

CinderBot! She pairs grace, flow, and chiffon with angularity, mechanicality, and steel to exquisite effect, which is to say hats off to YOU, LolAI!

Dotty! Holy 11-year-old rebellion! That's fantastic! To have the chutzpa to stand your ground for what you want (or don't want) is absolutely transformative.

I feel like I’ve lived several different lives while up here in Portland. I feel like I’ve constantly been moving, shifting and awakening. I consider myself on a constant path of transformation. I think that my biggest one to date, was when I came up to Oregon not knowing anyone or having even stepped foot in this state before. It was a giant leap of faith for me and has transformed my life in ways I couldn’t even imagine.

Robyn!!! oh oh and OH! I love your story of constant moving, shifting and awakening. The path IS constant, isn't it? And there is something magical about starting over in a new land... xo
I just told a client today how I love my job! I get to see a transformation with every project! From a white stucco wall turned pool mural, or a simple white door painted to look like wood. It's all so fascinating and I am blessed. Spontaneous creativity has transformed me to my core!

Now that commented to Dotty, hope she doesn't mind, the platform/computer/ or what ever opened the comment box and recognizes me!
