Jen, thank you for YOUR permission on top of Mary's. I have stopped in my tracks, I am noticing my breath, am astonished by it. Am astonished that I can shift its depth, breadth, duration. I am astonished by the needle in my hand, rocking up and down through fabric, trailing thread. By the story unfolding in my ears through a Blue-Tooth connection, by the snarky characters in the story who move me to bark with laughter. By the celestial light dripping through your painting. By the choice I have now about whether to begin rushing again or to open myself to limitless astonishment.
