About the painting: layers of water-soluble ink applied loosely with a brush. Acrylic paint added to sky and liberally vandalized with bare fingers. Acrylic added to lower portion and sprayed with water. A thin line of quinacridone violet added to the horizon with a small brush.

Hey my friend! This is just lovely! I am in the throes of trying to get my inspiration back. Starting today at 3 I have embarked on a 12 week journey with Art2Life Creative Visionary Program with Nicholas Wilton. It is an online course. I find this a little scary since it is mostly working abstractly - you know my journey on that scale, haha! Anyway, it is really supposed to open you up to find your voice and recreate the joy of the art, so I am going in with an open mind and a hopeful heart. Not sure what happened to that, but I do know the trigger - so I am out to overcome the obstacle I personally put in my way. Wish me luck......xoxo

mmmmm. I am resting in the lower left quadrant of Rest, floating on my back in peaceful stillness, quietly energized by the lulling water that supports me fully and tenderly.

Those mountains with their rich pinks and purples catch my restful eyes. Can't wait till swimming season comes around!
