Thursday. A whirlwind tour, sunup to sundown and beyond. Our guides, Damian Stack and Ger Greaney, began with a run up to Knockanure in the early morning mist. On the left, and aging cemetery of Celtic crosses and stone walls. On the right, in the middle of a farmer's field, a fairy fort. High on the hill, surrounded by tall trees, a circle of legend and bones which none would enter.

Sounds like you had a great day. I was just wondering as there was no mention of treats in your blog, was someone very bold and didn't deserve them? F&W

Oh no! How could I forget the treats? Too many gorgeous views. My brain is steeped in Irish history now. Even chocolate can't get through... F&W

With all the anthropological information that Mr Greaney (true or false) told you about your brain had little room for anything else. He does tend to go on and on and on. At least that's what I have heard. I also heard that the other joker Stack has some good stories and a good singer. F&W

The show tunes were the hit of the day. No amount of historical knowledge can make up for quality entertainment!

Musical names seem to be one of their specialties here. :) They trip off the tongue like notes, especially in a brogue.
